The
Graduate Institute of Educational Administration and
Policy was established in 2005 due to lacking of the
experienced and professional administrators in the
educational field. Our goal is to provide systematic
training for graduate students who will be able to serve
in governmental organizations in order to provide
recommendations in the process of policy-making.
Objectives
1. Cultivate elites in the fields of educational
administration and policy;
2. Prepare excellent leaders in different fields of
school administration and policy; and
3. Offer high quality training opportunities for
educational and school administrators to upgrade
professional development.
Faculty and Curriculum
The institute has four full-time faculty members
including two professors, one associate professor and
one assistant professor. Besides, we also cooperate with
the Department of Education, the Department of Law and
the Department of Public Administration to offer courses
related to the professional fields. The graduate
students have to successfully complete at least 30
credits including three required subjects: Study on
Educational Administration, Study on Educational Policy
Analysis, and Study on School Administration; all other
courses are elective. The graduate students who are not
majored in the fields of education must make up the
required courses of the undergraduate program. In
consequence, we cordially welcome graduates from
different colleges and universities.
